BROW CODE TINT SHADES:
Black: Tints any hair color pure black. Black is the ideal colour to mix with all the other shades to create depth and also to achieve a longer lasting brow tint. Black should never be used on it's own.
Natural Brown: Very dark and well concealing brown. This warm toned shade of brown is for a true brunette. The first innovative shade of brown which will not turn your brows black! The versatility in this shade allows you to either naturally stain the hair with a duration of 1 minute or leave a perfect stained shape with a duration of 2-3 minutes. Tint will last up to 3 weeks on the hair and 1 week on the skin leaving a shaded style for you to follow when filling in your brow.
Light Brown: Ideal when applied on light blond to light brown hair. The best thing about Light brown is this is your base to mix and match all colours! For example: Singularly it is the perfect tone for a blonde-medium brown hair. Mixed with half of "Natural brown" it is a stunning medium brown shade. Mixed with half even portions of graphite it is your go-to for covering grey hairs for a more mature client. Mixed with black it will be the best for a black haired client and mixed with 3/4 to 1/4 Natural brown it will give a light brown haired client a longer staying soft shade of brown. This colour is a must have in your tint range for creating all the shades of brown you need.
Blue Black: The blue luster enhances color depth *ideal for eyelash tint only.
Blonde: Ideal for lightening of the brows up to 2 shades – This formula crystalizes and is a lighter not a color deposit. NOTE: You must use the liquid oxidant with the blonde tint.
Graphite: To cover all greys-Graphite must be added to counteract and tone the hair. Add graphite to light brown creates the perfect ash shade.
Before Brow Tinting: Remove all eye makeup before tinting the eyebrows, use a non oil based eye makeup remover. In order to achieve the optimum tinting results, the eyebrows and eyelashes should be dry and free of all oils and sebum as this can create a barrier against all Brow Code tints and it will not adhere to the surface layer of the skin or hair follicle.
Preparation of tint: Immediately before tinting mix equal parts of tint and Oxidant cream or Liquid into a creamy Gel paste using the enclosed application stick. The mixing ratio is 1:1 / equal parts
Tinting Brows: When the customer has closed the eyes, apply the tint to the eyebrows using the application stick until they are completely covered in tint but not saturated. Application times vary depending on customer between 5 – 12min depending on desired intensity and results achieved.
Tinting (Eyelashes): For tinting of the eyelashes remove two Eye protection papers. Put some skin protection cream on the customers lower lid and underside of the eye protection papers. Press one of the eyelash protection papers right up under the eyelashes of each eye to ensure that no tint touches the skin. please use application stick to apply the tint until covered. Application times vary 5-12 minutes depending on the desired intensity and results.
Cleansing the eyebrows: At the end of the application time, remove excess tint with a dry cotton ball. If the tint touches the skin remove the spots quickly and gently using the Brow Code Tint Remover. You must not use the Tint remover directly on the eyelashes or on the skin around the eyes as this can cause serious irritation.
Cleansing the lashes: After the application time, remove the eyelash protection papers carefully and remove access tint using a dry cotton ball. Finally remove any remaining tint with water and cotton wool. The customers eyes should remain closed until cleansing has been completed.
